Everything a renewal needs, on one page, prepared by agents

InsightPlacement is the broker’s side of the submission flow carriers underwrite: renewal and new-business placement of commercial P&C programs, from the 120-day mark to the bind order. Home for each role, a Renewals calendar, the Placement Workspace with seven zones, clients with their InsightPulse company profile, the carrier appetite table, the Rules Studio and AI & Agents.

Home

What needs you, first

Home is built for three roles — account executive, placement broker, account manager — with the decisions waiting on you, what the agents did, your book by stage, insights ranked by what each is worth, and signals from InsightPulse on the accounts you own or follow.

Home · Placement broker
Home for a placement broker on the illustrative book: seven placements in progress, $5.3M of expiring premium in play, two effective within 60 days, and what needs them with each prepared decision, its client, agent, premium and days to inception

Renewals

The 120/90/60/30-day calendar across the book

Placements bucketed by days to inception, the stage bar, and for each client: effective date and calendar mark, stage, lines, readiness, expiring and recommended premium and what is waiting — controls fired and decisions prepared.

Zone 2 · Readiness

Are we on the calendar, and what is missing?

The 120/90/60/30 marks against the effective date, the weighted readiness checklist, exposures this year against last, five years of loss runs per line, the statement of values with its gaps, and the expiring program.

Zone 3 · Submission

The market-ready package, with its gaps stated

The submission builder assembles the applicant, the program requested, exposures, the property schedule, loss history and the expiring program into a versioned HTML package, with every open item listed. A version is approved by a person before it goes to market.

Versions with a state

  • Draft, ready (approved), sent
  • A newer draft supersedes an older draft; approved versions are never rewritten
  • Approval is prepared only when no high-severity item is open at data collection

Every figure from the engines

  • The model may write the cover note only, checked against the facts
  • The InsightPulse company profile is dated and attributed
  • Download for review; redraft when the data changes
Zone 4 · Markets

Who to approach, and why — written down

Every carrier ranked per line from the appetite table: strong, possible or out, with every reason, caution and blocker. The plan keeps the best four per line and always the incumbent. Outreach drafts one e-mail per market; declinations are logged with their reasons.

Markets · Carrier appetite (illustrative)

Zone 5 · Quotes

Every quote beside the expiring, and a recommendation per line

Quote letters are read into structured quotes and confirmed by a person. The comparison shows premium and change, limit, retention, new exclusions, subjectivities, enhancements, rating and flags — hard flags for a short limit, a carrier below A-, or surplus lines not cleared; soft flags for a higher retention, new exclusions, three or more subjectivities, no appointment.

Zone 6 · Proposal & bind

The client proposal, the client’s sign-off, the bind order

The proposal is written from the selection: summary, the recommended program against the expiring, subjectivities, a surplus lines notice where it applies. The client’s sign-off is recorded on the decision record; the bind order is generated from the selected quotes and checked against them line by line (a dry run in the demo).

Proposal & bind

Zone 7 · Compliance

Placeable, provably

Surplus lines diligent effort per line, the A- security floor on every quoting carrier, the placement controls that fired, and the audit trail.

The placement copilot

Ask the placement. Get an answer with its sources

The copilot opens beside any placement. It calls read-only lookups — overview, readiness, submission, markets, quotes, proposal, compliance — scoped to what you may open, and answers like an experienced placement broker briefing a colleague: the answer, why, and what to do next.

  • Every figure checked against what the lookups returned; an unsupported one is replaced, never shown
  • Only placements you are allowed to open
  • Never takes an action — it points you to the zone where you can
  • Claude Sonnet 5.5 by default; facts-only answers when no model is configured
AI & Agents

The catalogue, each agent’s runs, autonomy and activity

Each agent has a page with its recent runs and their traces — model, tokens, cost, time, and what it prepared. The autonomy page shows the ceiling, each agent’s level per action and line, and the evidence.

AI & Agents · Catalogue
