Security & deployment

Your cloud, your database, your model account — and a person on every decision

InsightPlacement is deployed into the broker’s own environment. Client data, documents and the decision record stay there; the model is called through the broker’s own account, and can be switched off.

Security

Built so IT, compliance and E&O review can say yes

Identity and roles

Sign-in through the Insight identity platform (local accounts or OIDC), organisations and roles; account executive, placement broker, account manager, practice leader and compliance see what their role needs.

Scope

Routes and the copilot read only placements the signed-in person may open; leads-only pages (autonomy, rule publishing) are closed to other roles.

Tenancy

Every row belongs to an organisation; a request for an unknown organisation runs fail-closed and sees nothing.

Nothing sent on its own

Every send — client requests, submissions, bind orders — is a prepared decision a person accepts. In demos and tests, sends go to a dry-run provider that records and never delivers.

Documents

Uploaded documents go through upload checks to the object store, never a server’s local disk.

Audit and the decision record

An audit row for every change and a signed answer for every decision, including what an agent prepared and on whose behalf it acted.

Model risk

What a model may and may not do here

Engines compute every figure

Readiness, rankings, comparisons, premiums, changes, loss ratios and diligent effort are deterministic, with known-answer tests.

Grounded or discarded

Model answers cite numbered facts; one with a number not in the facts is thrown away and the engine’s finding stands.

Autonomy capped

Every placement action is capped at L2 ask first; the tenant ceiling is configuration, not a screen.

Traces and prompts

Every agent step records its model, tokens, cost and time with a trace; prompts can be overridden and versioned in InsightPrompts without a release.

Budgets

A daily budget per agent; over it, the faster model answers.

Tests never call a model

The test suite refuses Bedrock at the AWS client; engine tests are known answers.

Deployment

A reference deployment

ComponentReference choice
APIPython (FastAPI) service in the broker’s cloud account
Web appReact, served behind the broker’s identity provider
DatabasePostgreSQL, a schema per product; migrations with Alembic
DocumentsThe broker’s object store
ModelClaude on Amazon Bedrock in the broker’s account: Haiku 5.5 for the agents, Sonnet 5.5 for the copilot; switchable off per product
Company intelligenceInsightPulse endpoint, when configured
E-mailThe broker’s provider through insight_comms; a dry-run provider for demos and tests

VerticalServe Innovation PODs deploy and extend InsightPlacement inside a broker’s own environment.

Demo data

What you see on this site

Every screen is the running product on an illustrative book generated from a fixed seed: an invented broker (“Northbeam Risk Partners”), eight invented clients, fourteen invented carriers, .example addresses. None of it is real or market data, no broker’s clients are claimed, and no figure on this site is a customer result. Surplus lines thresholds and other control defaults are illustrative starting points, not legal or regulatory advice.
